CARE AND MAINTENANCE

To extend the life of your Delta reel, always protect the
outer frame and spool. We also recommend the following
easy maintenence tips:
To clean the reel, first rinse off any dirt or grit in cool
fresh water.
Use a cloth or toothbrush to carefully remove all sand
and grit from the reel with warm soapy water and rinse
again.
Separate the spool from the frame and dry thoroughly.
Once dry, reduce the drag pressure to the lowest setting
and store in the reel case.
Always store reel away from extreme heat.
After using in saltwater, always take the time to clean
your reel. Saltwater can leave a residue that will harden
over time if not properly cleaned and dried.
