Safe operation of this tool requires that you read and understand this operator’s manual and all the labels affixed to the tool.

KNOW YOUR LASER DISTANCE MEASURE TOOL PURPOSE Measure distances, lengths, heights, clearances, areas, and volumes with your WEN Laser Distance Measure. Refer to the following diagrams to become familiarized with all the parts and controls of your tool. The components will be referred to later in the manual for assembly and operation instructions.

SELECTING THE MEASURING REFERENCE POINT You can set your measuring device to measure from either the base of the unit or from the top of the unit.

MEASURING A DISTANCE The distance measuring function is for measuring distances, lengths, heights, and clearances.

MEASURING VOLUME The volume measuring function is made for measuring the volume of a rectangular prismatic space.
Any attempt to repair or replace electrical parts on this device may be hazardous. Servicing of the device must be performed by a qualified technician. When servicing, use only identical WEN replace- ment parts. Use of other parts may be hazardous or induce product failure.
