1. Remove the casing panel.
2. Open the grate maintenance cover.
3. Clean the grate with the scraper (accessories).

Risk of crushing and entanglement through gear
wheels of the grate
Do not reach into the gear wheels.

4. Check the grate end position.
Note
In the end position, the grate elements must be
horizontal.
If necessary, check the grate limit switch.
Check the gear wheel for actuating the grate limit
switch in the following cases:
■ If the grate is not horizontal in its end position.
■ If the gap between the grate elements is too wide.
