Troubleshooting
Message
Cannot play; file format is not
supported.
Cannot play; file is damaged. Please
connect to compliant software or
device and transfer again.
Cannot play; the license is
expired.
Could not add this song to
Library. Not enough free space in
memory.
Do not disconnect.
Firmware update failed.
Library error encountered. Please
connect to compliant software or
device and transfer again.
LOW BATTERY. Please Charge.
No channels available. Please
connect to Rhapsody and transfer
Rhapsody Channels.
Meaning
 You are trying to play a
file that cannot be
played on the player.
 You transferred an audio
file to video folders by
dragging and dropping.
The file you are trying to
play is damaged.
The playback limitation
period of the song has
expired.
You could not add the
selected song to the
"Music Library" because
the player's available
capacity is insufficient.
The player is connected to
a computer or other
external devices to
transfer data.
Updating the firmware
failed to complete.
The database for songs,
videos or photos is
damaged.
The player's battery is
running low.
You are trying to select a
Rhapsody Channel from
the Home menu or
"Music Library" when
there are no channels on
the player.
Remedy
You cannot play a song in
an unsupported format
file (  page 128).
Place them in folders
under the "MUSIC"
folder.
Transfer the file to the
player again.
Update the license
information of songs
using the software used
for transferring.
Connect the player to
your computer using the
supplied USB cable, and
then delete any
unnecessary data from the
player using appropriate
software.
This is not an error
message. Do not disconnect
the USB cable until
transferring completes.
Follow the instructions
displayed on your
computer to retry
updating the firmware.
 Transfer songs, videos,
or photos again.
 If the remedy above
does not solve the
problem, format the
built-in flash memory
(  page 92), then
transfer the data again.
Charge the battery ( 
page 21).
Connect to Rhapsody
service and transfer
Rhapsody Channels to the
player.
