HU-4140P 4 PORT USB2
Component description
See figure 1 at the bottom of the page.
Description Function
A LED Is lit when the hub is connected to a USB port on the computer.
B USB port Connect the USB cable which is connected to your computer here.
C USB port Connect your USB device here.
D Power connection Here, you can connect a power cable (not supplied).
Use
1. Turn the computer off.
2. Connect USB port (B in figure 1) to the computer. Turn the computer back on.
3. The hub will be automatically detected.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
5. The hub is now ready for use. The LED (A in figure 1) will be lit.
6. You can now connect your USB devices to the USB port (C in figure 1).
NOTE: If you have a USB 2.0 hub, connect it to a USB 2.0 port on your pc.
NOTE: Depending on the model, it could be that the hub has a second LED. This LED lits up
when an optional power adapter is used

Possible solution
Connect the USB cable correctly to a
free USB port on your computer.
Activate the USB port in the BIOS. See
the instruction manual provided with
your computer for instructions on how to
do this.

Connect a power cable to point D on the
hub. The power supply must satisfy the

Verwendung

5. Der Hub ist jetzt einsatzbereit. Die LED-Anzeige (A, Abbildung 1) leuchtet.
6. Jetzt können Sie Ihr USB-Gerät an den USB-Port (C, Abbildung 1) anschließen.
HINWEIS: Wenn Sie einen USB 2.0-Hub haben, schließen Sie ihn an den USB 2.0-Port Ihres PCs.
