- Page 3 1. Introduction The smart plug can perform automatic commands. Think of lights and appliances switching automatically according to a schedule you set yourself. But you can also have connected lighting and appliances follow you when you change the status of the system. For example you turn on the alarm and with it lights and/or other devices.
