Open the Page Setup dialog box.

Click the Utilities button.

Select Custom Settings from the pull-down menu.

Select Pause between pages, and then click Send.
You may need to clean some internal parts of the printer. Follow the procedure below.

Load sheets of Letter or A4 plain paper in the printer.

Hold down the RESUME/CANCEL button until the POWER lamp flashes
three times, and release the button.

Repeat this operation until there are no more smudges on the test page.
