    Sideris Printer Instrukcja obsługi / User guide 1. GENERAL INFORMATION The SIDERIS PRINTER plotter is designed for printing with tinsel and colored type of foil, on to paper, cardboard covers as well as covers covered with a paper veneer. It is also possible to print on plastic or plastic-coated materials, however a print test must be done first to ensure the suitability of the material.

    Work table lock button 4. TRANSPORT AND STORAGE • The Sideris Printer is electrically powered equipment adapted to work in office conditions. Both the equipment and the packaging should not be exposed to moisture (e.g. rain). • If the equipment gets wet, cover in water or in a flood, to avoid the risk of electric shock, you must return the device to a service center for inspection.

The slots on the work table (11) should be placed over the supports (21) which protrude from the device and then pressed down to lock them in place.

The frame has 4 holes one on each corner so the frame can be turned completely round, if the design takes up less than 50% of the foil area, to reduce waste for the next tinsel printing.
  • Page 32 Sideris Printer Instrukcja obsługi / User guide Tinsel printing on the channel • Press the work table lock button (3), the indicator light (4) flashes red. • Slide the work table (6) out of the equipment. •Insert 2 channel jigs of the right size for the channel, (15) in the recesses (B) of the work table, depending on the length of the channel to be tinsel printed, recesses 1 and 2 or 1 and 3 should be used.

    Sideris Printer Instrukcja obsługi / User guide 8. INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE Run the installation, click Silhouette Studio.exe. Follow the messages on the computer. Below is an installation example for Windows 10 Pro. Depending of the available software version the graphics layout and sequence of operations may be differ.
