Goldpress 5 • User guide The Goldpress 5 is fitted with a heater element of 200 x 100 mm giving you a large area for hot print stamping, it comes with a microprocessor controller and LED digital display with an audible sound plus two buttons to set and control the temperature, stamping time and sound which ensures constant work conditions. -

• If replacement of the fuse is necessary, replace it with the same value glass fuse. This should be done by a suitably qualified person. • After replacing the fuse if it goes again you must contact your supplier or Opus technical support as soon as possible. -

The Goldpress 5 has a glass fuse of T 3.15 Amps for 230 V and T 6.3 Amps for the 120 V ver- sion, which is on the power supply board located underneath the unit behind a cover, which must be unscrewed. -

SETTING THE TEMPERATURE AND STAMPING TIME • The best results for hot print stamping when using Opus foils and covers are obtained with the following settings: • Set the heater temperature to: 100 °C / 212°F • Set the stamping time: 0,5 - 20 seconds However, if the stamping results are not satisfactory, a change in the settings may be ne- cessary. - Page 7 B. Preparing to use a MATRIX OPUS offers a matrix manufacturing service, O.Matrix GP5 dies in 2 sizes: 50 x 100 mm or 100 x 200 mm, in appropriate formats, sizes and typeface font. You can also use your own premade matrix/logo, if it does not exceed 100 x 200 mm.

Using O•Matrix Glue Applicator squeeze out a small amount of the O•Matrix Glue and hardener on to the bottom of the matrix, then mix it together with a small palette knife and spread a thin layer over the entire surface. Scrape of the excess glue with the palette knife then clean it with a paper towel right away.
