Distance
Set the distance from your listening position to the
front speakers in "Front" (front speaker) first (

Notes
• The settings below may not be the defaults if you
followed the "Room Size" setup of "Step 8: Easy
Setup" (page 34) to reflect the current speaker
placement.
• Change your current settings again should you change
the speaker positions.
Front
Set the front speaker distance within 1.0 to 7.0 m (set
in 0.2 m increments). The default setting is "1.6."
Center
Set the centre speaker distance between the "Front"
setting and -1.6 m of the "Front" setting (set in 0.2
m increments). The default setting is "1.6."
Surround
Set the surround speaker distance between the
"Front" setting and -4.6 m of the "Front" setting. (set
in 0.2 m increments). The default setting is "1.6."

Notes
• When you select an item, sound momentarily cuts off.
• If front and surround speakers are not placed at an
equal distance from your listening position, set the
distance according to the closest speaker.
• Do not place the surround speakers farther away from
your listening position than the front speakers.
• Depending on the input signal, the distance settings
may not be effective.
