WARNINGS AND SAFETY The symbols illustrated below, together with “DANGER” or “WARNING”, indicate the potential risks due to the inobservance of the instruction to which they have been related, as indicated below: Warns that there is a risk of electric shock if the DANGER, instructions are not observed RISK OF ELECTRIC...
3. DESCRIPTION Booster sets designed and built to ensure a constant pressure, specifically suitable for domestic applications and small or medium systems for civil, agricultural or industrial uses. Booster sets strengths and benefit: constant pressure, low noise operation, low running costs, low water consumption, protection against dry running. Is recommended to use the sets with membrane pressure tanks.
4. GENERALITY The present manual is aimed at giving the necessary information regarding the installation, use and maintenance of booster sets with variable speed by frequency inverter installed on each pump consisting of 2 pump. It is vital that the user reads this manual prior to using the system. Improper use may cause damage to the machine as well as the lapse of the guarantee.
5. WORKING LIMITS WARNING FOLLOW PROVISIONS SAFETY PERFORM PLANNED MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDED IN THE INSTRUCTION MANUALS, AS WELL AS INDICATED: Operating ambient temperature: min. +4°C; max +40°C for internal installations (CEI EN 60439-1). Employable liquids: water free of vegetation, fibrous or other matter in suspension gas and corrosive/aggressive substances.
6. INSTALLATION DANGER RISK OF ELECTRIC DANGER WARNING SHOCK The set must be fitted in a well ventilated place, protected from unfavourable weather conditions. • When handling the set, lift it by the base. • Do not lift the set by the delivery manifold: risk of damage. •...
7. ELECTRIC CONNECTIONS DANGER RISK OF ELECTRIC DANGER WARNING SHOCK The units are delivered ready for power connection, which must be carried out by a qualified and authorized in a manner consistent with the rules in force in the country of installation. Make sure that the mains power supply is equipped with protections and for making the land compliant.

DANGER RISK OF ELECTRIC DANGER WARNING SHOCK If the request is the function COMBO, first pump must be connected to the following through a three-core cable with a minimum section 0.5mm2 exploiting the positions S +, S-and G present in the control card. (if you use the DRIVE-TECH 209,414,418,425) If the function COMBO is required with the DRIVE-TECH 214 and the DRIVE-TECH 409, the connection between the inverter (DRIVE-TECH) is carried out using a bipolar cable connected to terminals 3 and 4.
8. GENERAL FEATURES The inverter (DRIVE-TECH) is a device for the control and protection of pumping systems based on the variation of the supply frequency of the pump. It can be applied to both new and existing installations guaranteeing: • Energy and cost savings •...
you want to exclude a security from inverter (DRIVE-TECH) combined operation is necessary to disconnect the corresponding sensor, in order to prevent the inverter (DRIVE-TECH) master commands automatically START the slave of interest. In case of alarm or failure of a pump this will be replaced (temporarily or permanently depending on the type of alarm that occurred) by another group.
