  • Page 2 PREPARING INSTALLATION INSTALLATION OF VALVE ASSEMBLY Determine which model you want to install, with or without handheld shower Insert valve into mounting surface, slip washer (1) over mounting stud and and whether the shower is to be positioned to the right or left of the spout. Drill 2 secure with nut (2), as shown in fig.

  • Page 4 MAKE CONNECTIONS TO WATER LINES Turn on the water supplies. Open faucet handle in mixed position. Carefully inspect all connections for leakage, with the water pressure on. Re-- The hoses supplied have ½”--14 female connections that can be used to con- tighten if necessary, but do not over tighten.
  • Page 5 INSTALLATION OF SPOUT ASSEMBLY FLUSH YOUR SYSTEM Remove the cap (1) by loosening the set screw (2). Allen key, 3 mm. Remove stream straightener from end of spout. On spout / diverter assembly (3), loosen the set screw (4) at the spout body. Turn faucet handle to the full on position.
  • Page 6 MAINTENANCE REGULATION UNIT MAINTENANCE SPOUT SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES BEFORE SERVICING VALVE If spout leaks at base of spout body -- replace O--ring. (1). Unscrew set screw at spout base, by using a 3 mm Allen key. ASSEMBLY Pull off spout, and replace O--ring on shank. If faucet leaks out of spout or under handle -- replace valve cartridge.
  • Page 7 MAINTENANCE DIVERTER If spout leaks out of diverter hole in body -- replace top seal (2). If spout leaks out of outlet with diverter in shower mode -- clean or replace O--rings (3 & 4). Unscrew the upper set screw, remove the spout. Unscrew the diverter knob, the diverter stem and spring is released.
