Using your notebook
2 Push the release button.
The release button pops out.
3 Push the release button.
The PC Card slot comes out.
4 Pull the PC Card slot out of the connector.
5 Insert the PC Card adapter into the connector (3) on your computer (label facing up) and push it gently.
6 The Memory Stick™ is automatically detected by your system and appears in your My Computer
window as a local drive, under the apprioriate letter (depending on the configuration of your computer).
When your Memory Stick™ is detected, the Unplug or Eject Hardware icon appears in the taskbar.

Hold the Memory Stick™ with the arrow pointing in the correct direction when you insert it into the slot. To avoid damaging the computer or the
Memory Stick™, do not force the Memory Stick™ into the slot if it does not insert smoothly.

Removing a Memory Stick™

To remove a Memory Stick™, proceed as follows:
1 Double-click the Unplug or Eject Hardware icon in the taskbar.
The dialog box Unplug or Eject hardware appears.
2 Select the hardware you want to unplug.
