There is no icon in the taskbar to control sound
By default you find the Windows

activate the Windows controller by doing the following:

Select My Computer from the Start menu,

Select Control Panel,

Open Multimedia,

In the Audio tab, select the Show volume control on the taskbar checkbox.

About the modem

My internal modem does not work
Check that the phone line is plugged into your computer.

Check that the phone line is working. You can check the line by plugging in an

ordinary phone and listening for a dial tone.
Check that the phone number the program is dialing is correct.

In the Modems Properties dialog box (Control Panel / Modems), check that your

modem is listed on the General tab, and that the Dialing Properties are correct.
My Modem Cannot Establish a Connection
The modem dialing mode may be incompatible with your telephone line.
