3.4 Coordination of protection If the short-circuit current is not bigger than the rated ultimate short circuit breaking capacity of the starter, the protection should be provided by the starter; if the short circuit current is bigger than the rated ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity of the starter, the protection should be provided by the fuse or circuit breaker. -
