6. When pushing the starter switch or pulling the
recoil starter handle, make sure that both the red
and orange indicators are flashing.
NOTICE
If either of them does not flash, consult a Yamaha
dealer since the CO SENSOR system is most likely
malfunctioning.
7. After the engine starts, warm up the engine until
the engine does not stop when the choke lever is
returned to the original position.

Stopping The Engine

TIP
After the engine is stopped the engine cannot be
restarted for approximately 15 seconds.
1. Turn off any electric devices.
2. Turn the AC switch (N.F.B.) and economy control
switch to "3" (OFF).
