To resolve the E06 error message on the Fitness Avenue FA-7966 treadmill, follow these steps to locate and check the speed sensor and lifting wires:

1. Check Speed Sensor Connection:
- Locate the speed sensor near the motor or flywheel area.
- Ensure the sensor’s signal wires are firmly inserted into the controller.
- Re-insert the signal wire joint to ensure a reliable connection.

2. Check Lifting Motor Wiring:
- Locate the lifting motor, usually under the treadmill deck.
- Verify that the AC wires of the lifting motor are connected properly following the marks on the AC controller.
- Check for any visible damage or open circuits in the motor wiring.
- Replace damaged wires or the lifting motor if needed.

3. Controller Check:
- If connections and wiring are correct but the issue persists, consider replacing the controller.

4. Reset and Test:
- After all checks and fixes, press the learning key to initiate the learning process again.

These steps help ensure proper function of the speed sensor and lifting system, potentially resolving the E06 error.
