Replacing the Active Pen nib
If the nib is dull, replace it with a new one.

Firmly hold the nib with your fingernails or tweezers and
remove it.

Insert a new nib into the Active Pen.
• D o not reuse old nibs. Doing so may cause the Active
Pen to malfunction.
• D o not press the nib excessively when inserting the nib
into the Active Pen.
• D o not insert the round end of the nib into the Active
Pen. Doing so may cause damage to the Active Pen or
your device.
• D o not bend or apply excessive pressure with the Active
Pen while using it. The Active Pen may be damaged or
the nib may be deformed.
• I f you use the Active Pen at sharp angles on the screen,
the device may not recognize the Active Pen actions.
• F or more information about the Active Pen, visit the
Samsung website.
• I f the Active Pen is not working properly, take it to a
Samsung Service Center.
