With the client seated in the chair, determine (approximate) the most desirable fore & aft mounting location for the Lateral Hip Support and select the nearest (existing) mounting holes the seat side frame. (note: the mounting bracket for the Hip Support is typically installed around the center of the seat side frame; Further height and depth adjustments are available via the upright bar and the hip pad). - Page 5 4. Secure the Lateral Hip Support Assembly into place on the seating system: i) for fixed hip supports: tighten the set-screw in the mounting bracket until it is snug up against the upright plate (refer to Figure 1.0).
