TROUBLESHOOTING

Issue
The light is off, and the
heating plate is not hot.
The light is off, but the
heating light is hot.
The light is on, but the
heating plate is not hot.
The rice is half-cooked or
cooking time is too long.
Possible cause
Cooker is not connected to
power supply.
• The lights or resistances
are loose
• The light or resistance
have broken down
• The wiring is loose
• The heating tube has
broken down
• Inner pot is not making
full contact with the
heating element
• Inner pot is deformed and
cannot make full contact
• Heating plate is
deformed.
• The cooker pot is slanting
to one side, other side is
not touching the heating
plate
• Foreign matter left
between cooking pot and
heating plate
Solution(s)
• Ensure cord is connected
properly to power outlet,
and that power is
switched on
• Ensure cord is not
damaged
• Check fuse for power
• Ensure the light is
connected correctly.
• The bulb requires
replacement. Contact
kogan.com support.
• Reconnect the wire
• Heating tube requires
replacement. Contact
kogan.com support.
• Ensure proper contact is
being made between the
inner pot and heating
plate
• If the heating plate is
slightly deformed, polish
the heating plate with
fine sandpaper (refer to
Cleaning & Care
instructions)
• Turn the cooking pot
round slightly until it is
fixed to the heating plate
properly
• Polish the foreign matter
with fine sandpaper (320
grit, very fine).
