- Page 3 MS-070SP USER GUIDE Introduction The MSolutions MS-070SP is a 4K HDMI extender using uncompressed HDBaseT technology to extend 4K UHD & HDR video (10.2Gbps) to a distance of up to 40m over single CAT cable with 1080p or lower resolutions to up to 70m. S/PDIF audio return enables the sink to return audio to an audio amplification or distribution device located remotely to the display.

- Page 5 MS-070SP USER GUIDE Understanding the LED’s This MSolutions extender set includes status LED indicators on both the Transmitter and Receiver products to show active connections and to further help integrators diagnose potential problems with the associated cabling. The RJ45 HDBaseT connections on both the transmitter and receiver units have orange and green LED’s.
- Page 6 MS-070SP USER GUIDE Power The MS-070SP uses Power over Cable (PoC) to provide bi-directional power from either the Transmitter to the Receiver, or Receiver to the Transmitter over the CAT cable link. Please only use the supplied 12V/2A DC PSU supplied with the MSolutions MS-070SP to power the unit. Audio The MS-070SP allows for S/PDIF Optical audio signals to be transferred between RX and TX.
