INSTRUCTIONS
(Please read the entire sheet before beginning install)

Parts included:

2 Risers (powder coat black or raw aluminum finish)
4 Grade 8 Bolts
(these instructions are for both the 1" & 2" 48 Stealth Riser Extension Kits)

Installation Steps:

1. Place a towel or some other protection over gas tank and front fender
2. Remove the 4 bolts securing the handlebar Top clamp to the integral top tree (you may find it
helpful to have someone hold the handlebars in place for you while doing this)
3. Place riser extensions between the top tree bracket (the extensions are labeled L (left) and R
(Right)), and then set the handlebars into the curve of the risers extension. (the right side is the
side with your air cleaner)
4. Bolt the top clamp into place with the four bolts provided with the kit Make sure to use
thread-locker and to tighten to factory torque specifications. This is generally 30-40 ft pounds,
check your manual to verify the values for your bike.
The FUN PART! Now that your handlebars are higher, you may want to adjust them forward or
back. Have fun experimenting with the new look & improved comfort! Ride Safe!

  • Page 2 *Fitment Notes: Generally with the 1” - 2”” risers you will have plenty of slack in the wires and cables. Never yank the wires, gently pull them up to get the length you need. If you find you need more length than can be obtained by gently pulling on the wires-you may need to do some re-routing of the wires and/or cables, or even extend them.
