• Never attempt to operate
with damaged blades, or with
utensils, or any foreign objects
inside the cup.
• Never blend or store hot or
warm ingredients in blender,
containers or tumblers.
Doing so may cause injury to
person or property.
• Do not put the cup in extremes
of heat or cold, for example
placing a cold cup into hot
water, or vice versa.
• Do not allow blended
ingredients to sit for long
periods after operation as
pressure can build within the
cup or accessory resulting
in an unsafe situation such
as eruption or spraying.
Always open closed or sealed
containers and tumblers slowly,
and with caution to release any
pressure before completely
removing lids or covers.
• Do not attach an external
switching device (such as a
timer) or remote to the blender,
power cord or supply outlet.
Doing so can cause improper
or accidental operation
resulting in injury to person
or property.

spinning or moving blades,

ingredients to avoid scalding
and burns.
• Ingredients under pressure
may erupt or spray causing
injury.
SHORT CORD
INSTRUCTIONS
Your Breville appliance is fitted
with a short power supply cord
to reduce personal injury or
property damage resulting from
pulling, tripping or becoming
entangled with a longer cord.
If an extension cord is used,
(1) the marked electrical rating
of the cord set or extension cord
should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of the appliance,
(2) the cord should be arranged
so that it will not drape over the
countertop or table-top where
it can be pulled on by children
or tripped over unintentionally
and (3) the extension cord must
include a 3-prong grounding
plug.
