MAINTENANCE

WARNING: AVOID INJURY. Read and
understand the entire Safety section before
proceeding.
CAUTION: Bagger components are subject to
wear, damage and deterioration, which could
expose moving parts or allow objects to be
thrown. Frequently check components and
replace with manufacturer's recommended
parts, when necessary.
Tires
Check unit tire pressure regularly. Uneven tire pressure
may cause uneven grass cutting.
Bagger
• Before each use, check bagger parts for structural
damage, deterioration or wear. Replace only with
original service parts.
• Always observe safety rules when performing any
maintenance.
• Before each use, check for loose fasteners.
• Clean unit thoroughly after each use.
Cleaning
• Remove any built up debris from bagger
components.
CAUTION: Do not spray bagger with water
while bagger is on the unit. Water can
damage unit engine and bearings.
• Do not use a high pressure washer on bagger
components.
• If washed, allow bagger components to dry before
operation to prevent clogging.
Blade Care
• Periodically check mower blade and vanes for
wear.
• For best results mower blades must be kept sharp.
Replace bent, worn or damaged blades.
WARNING: Vanes must be used in pairs. Do
not interchange with different or worn vanes
on the same blade. Using one worn and one
new vane on the same blade will cause blade
to be out of balance and result in part failure
and possible injury.
WARNING: AVOID INJURY. Read and
understand the entire Safety section before
proceeding.
IMPORTANT: NEVER spray unit with high-pressure
water. DO NOT store unit outdoors.
Clean plastic surfaces with sponge and mild detergent.
Dry with a soft cloth.
Clear away debris under belt cover, in boot assembly, in
tube, and in cover assembly before storing.
Remove all dirt, grease, leaves, etc. from unit.
Store in a clean, dry area.
