    1.   • Page 7 • Foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles, clothes or pillows with rubber support or rubber foam pads must not be used in the Wash&Wear auxiliary programme selection or in the Refresh programme. It may cause fire risk. • If you use washing ball, detergent scale, laundry clothing cages and balls in your machine, they can melt during drying.

    • Underwear with metal attachments must not be used in the Refresh programme and the Wash&Wear auxiliary function selection. Metal supports might come off during drying and cause damage in the machine. 1.3 Electrical safety • Do not operate faulty products until repaired by an Authorised Service Agent.
  • Page 9 • If you will place a dryer on to the washing machine, secure it with the suitable connection apparatus that you can obtain from the Authorised Service Agent. • Unplug the product, turn the tap off and contact your Authorised Service Agent without tampering with the product if the product has been damaged.

    6. Installation 6.1 Appropriate installation location • Damaged products cause risks for your safety. - Prior to installation, visually check if the product has any defects on it. WARNING! - If so, do not have it installed. • Do not place the product on a floor without sufficient capacity to carry the load.

    b) Remove transportation safety bolts by turning them gently. c) After removing bolts, close the holes with plugs provided in the user manual bag. • Keep the transportation safety bolts in a safe place for reuse when the product needs to be moved again in the NOTE future.

    a) Connect the straight end of the mains inlet hose provided with the product to the cold water tap and the warped end to the water inlet on the back of the product as shown in the figure. b) Tighten all hose nuts by hand. Never use a tool when tightening the nuts.

    d) To prevent the waste water to go back into the product again and to ensure easy drainage, do not immerse the end of the hose into the waste water or do not insert it into the drain for more than 15 cm. If it is too long, cut it short.

    7. Initial use 7.1 Drum cleaning • Apply drum cleaning without any laundry in the product. NOTE a) Use the Drum Cleaning programme. b) Set the temperature to the level recommended on the special drum cleaning agent package which can be provided from Authorised Service Agents.

Preparing to wash 8.1 Sorting the laundry a) Sort laundry according to type of fabric, colour, and degree of soiling and allowable water temperature. b) Follow instructions on the garment tags. c) Do not wash colours and whites together. New and dark coloured cottons may release a lot of dye.

    8.2 Preparing laundry for washing a) Laundry items with metal attachments such as, underwiring, belt buckles or metal buttons will damage the product. Remove the metal pieces or wash such clothes by putting them in a laundry bag or pillow case. This kind of clothes may overheat in the Refresh programme and in the Wash&Wear auxiliary function selection and harm your laundry.

    The detergent drawer is composed of three compartments: – (1) for prewash – (2) for main wash – (3) for softener – ( ) in addition, there is a siphon piece in the softener compartment. 8.5.2 Detergent, softener and other cleaning agents a) Add detergent and softener before starting the washing programme.

    8.5.5 Using liquid or gel detergent a) Do not forget to place the liquid detergent cup into the main wash compartment. b) If the liquid detergent has lost its fluidity, dilute it with water before putting in the detergent cup. b) When using gel detergent, fill the detergent into this cup before starting the programme.

    9. Programmes and auxiliary functions 9.1 Programme selection • Programmes are limited with the highest spin speed appropriate for that particular type of fabric. NOTE • When selecting a programme, always consider the type of fabric, colour, degree of soiling and permissible water temperature.

    9.4 Auxiliary function selection • When you try to change an auxiliary function that is not allowed to be selected with the current programme, NOTE indicator light of the relevant auxiliary function will not flash, only an audio warning is given. Frames of available options will be lit.

    9.4.1 Auxiliary functions • Prewash A Prewash is only worthwhile for heavily soiled laundry. Not using the Prewash will save energy, water, detergent and time. • Extra Rinse This function enables the product to make another rinsing in addition to the one already made after the main wash.

Programme setting 10.1 Temperature selection a) Whenever a new programme is selected, the recommended temperature for the selected programme appears on the temperature indicator. b) To decrease the temperature, press the Temperature Adjustment button. Temperature will decrease gradually. c) It turns back to the beginning after "Cold" option and arrives at the highest temperature selectable according to the programme.

    • Rinse Hold If you are not going to unload your clothes immediately after the programme completes, you can use rinse hold function to keep your laundry in the final rinsing water in order to prevent them from getting wrinkled when there is no water in the machine.

    11. Programme options 11.1 Setting the end time • Do not use liquid detergents without a liquid cup when you activate End Time function.
