Battery Installation 9V x 2 (6LR61) • Locate the battery compartment on the back of each walkie talkie. • Loosen the screw in each battery compartment door. Remove each battery compartment door. • Snap one 9V (6LR61) alkaline battery into each walkie talkie. Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer battery life.
