Problem
Floppy Disk Drive Problems
You cannot access your floppy disk.
Hard Drive Problems
You can not access your hard drive.

Possible Cause
1. You tried to write to a write protected
floppy disk.
2. Floppy disk is not loaded correctly.
3. BIOS setup utility has Diskette
Controller: Disabled.
4. Security is set to protect access to floppy
disk data (shows as 5 1/4 (A:).)
1. The setup utility is set to something other
than the characteristics of your internal
hard drive.
Possible Solution
1. Eject the floppy disk and set it to write
enabled. (See page 31.)
2. Eject floppy disk, check orientation and
re-insert. (See Floppy Disk Drive
on pages 30-31.)
3. Revise the setup utility Main menu settings.

4. Verify your password and security settings.
Security should have Diskette Access: All.
1. Revise BIOS settings to set both Primary
Master and Primary Slave correctly.
