This is obtained through the board zone selection, where the wireless channel is determined by the lowest zone ON.

Connection 2.1 Recommended wiring For correct wiring the standard RS-485 is used as the physical layer for communication.

The star connection as shown below or other connections like this should be avoided. As this will effect the quality of the signal greatly. The final scoreboard in the chain needs a termination resistor NG-term to avoid reflections which will affect the quality of the signal.

It can be very useful for arenas with very long wires or many star configurations. Multiple repeaters can be used to further improve the signal.
