Deleting the Driver (Windows 2000 only)

This section explains how to delete the driver in Windows 2000.
If you are using the camera in Widows Vista or Windows XP, it is not
necessary to delete the driver as explained on this page because the
OS driver is used.
Log in under the Administrator privileges when deleting the driver.
Before starting the driver deletion, exit all programs you are using and
disconnect the dedicated cable from your computer.

Delete [EOS XXX PTP Driver].
Your camera model is displayed in EOS XXX.
Click the [Start] button
select [Programs]
[EOS XXX PTP Driver]

Proceed with the deletion as directed by the on-
screen messages.
The driver is deleted.

Restart the computer.
When the restart dialog box is displayed on your computer, select
[Yes, I want to restart my computer now] and click the [Finish]
button.
When the computer is restarted, deletion of the driver is
completed.

[PTP Driver Uninstall].
