Even if there is no alarm indication, the voltage may still be present. Do not rely on the non-contact voltage to determine whether a wire has a voltage. Probe operation may be influenced by socket design, type of insulation thickness, etc. In NCV detection mode, the meter does not measure voltage, resistance, and current simultaneously.
