Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce
the risk of fire, electric hazard and injury to persons, including the following.
1. Read all instructions.

2. Don't touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock, don't place this unit in water or other liquid. See instruction
for cleaning.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children and infirm
person. Don't use appliance unattended.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow cooling before cleaning the
appliance.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions,
or has been damaged in any manner. Return Appliance to the nearest authorized service
facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
7. To reduce the risk of injury, use accessory attachments only if recommended by the appliance
manufacturer.
8. Don't use outdoors or while standing in a damp area.
9. Don't let cord hand over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
10. Don't place on or near a hot gas or electric stove, or in a heated oven.
11. Extreme caution must be used when moving any cup containing hot liquids from this appliance.
12. Don't use appliance except as intended.
13. The piercing pin is very sharp; use extreme care.

Safety Measures

The appliance shouldn't be used when:
Cable is damaged
The appliance can be visually seen damaged.
The appliance has been dropped onto the floor. Even if visible damage is not seen.
Do not use the appliance except as stated in this manual.

Operation procedures

1. Measuring water
The amount of water required depends on the number of eggs and the degree of hardness/
softness desired. The measuring cup marked 3 scales: soft, medium and hard-boiled. Each scale
has the number of water marked on it. Fill the measuring beaker with water up to the appropriate
mark. Make sure that the egg boiler is placed in horizontal position. Unwind the cable from the
base. Pour measured amount of water into the boiling plate.
2. Preparing for eggs
Use the pin underside the measuring cup to prick a small aperture into the blunt end of the egg.
This prevents the eggshells bursting during boiling. Put eggs into tray and put tray on the boiling
plate. Close the lid.
3. Boiling eggs
Put the plug into socket. Machine is now in operation. When all water has evaporated. Built-in
thermostat switches off the boiler and the buzzer sounds. Eggs are now cooked. Pull out the plug
from socket. Remove the lid carefully. As it is very hot, immediately take out the egg tray and cool
the eggs.
