GENERAL DESCRIPTION
USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER:
1. Open the top cover and fill the water tank
with fresh water. The water level should
not exceed the MAX level as indicated on
the water level gauge. Close the top cover
after filling with water.
2. Hold the side of the funnel and open it out.
Then insert the filter into the funnel and
make sure everything fits properly. Pour
coffee powder into filter. Usually a cup of
coffee needs one level spoon of coffee
powder, but you may adjust according to
personal taste. Then replace the funnel.
Make sure it is fitted properly, otherwise
the top cover cannot be closed. Finally,
close the top cover.
3. Place the carafe on the warming plate.
4. Plug the power cord into the outlet.
5. Press the power switch down, the indicator
will light up. The appliance will begin
working.
NOTE: The appliance will shut off
automatically after being in operation
continuously for 40 minutes.
6. The brewing process can be interrupted at
any time by pressing the power switch
again. The appliance will continue brewing
once the power switch is pressed again.
NOTE: You can take out the carafe, pour
and serve at any time. The appliance will
stop dripping automatically. But the time
cannot exceed 30 seconds.
7. Take out the carafe and serve the coffee
when the brewing process has finished
(about one minute after the coffee stops
dripping out.)
NOTE: The amount of brewed coffee
obtained will be less than the water you
have added, as some water is absorbed by

the coffee powder. DO NOT TOUCH the top
cover, warming plate and so on when
operating as they become very hot.
8. When the brewing process has finished,
the appliance will switch to warming mode
and shuts off automatically after being
operated continuously for 40 minutes.
9. Always turn the coffee maker off and
disconnect the power supply when not in use.
NOTE: Exercise caution when pouring out
the coffee to avoid injury as freshly brewed
coffee is very hot.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
CAUTION: Be sure to unplug the appliance
before cleaning. To protect against electrical
shock, do not immerse cord, plug or appliance
in water or liquid. After each use, always make
sure the plug is first removed from wall outlet.
1. Clean all detachable components after
each use in hot, soapy water.
2. Wipe the appliance's exterior surface with
a soft, damp cloth to remove stains.
3. Water droplets may build up in the area
above the funnel and drip onto the
appliance base during brewing. You may
need to wipe the area with a clean, dry
cloth after each use.
4. Use a damp cloth to gently wipe the
warming plate. Never use abrasive
cleaners to clean it.
5. Replace all components and set aside for
next use.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS:
To keep the coffee maker operating efficiently,
regularly remove any mineral deposits that
have built up according to the water quality
and frequency of use. Descale the coffee
maker by following the instructions below.
Do as follows:
1. Fill the water tank with water and
descaling agent to the MAX level as
indicated on the water level gauge (follow
the instructions on the packing of the
descaling agent regarding the quantity of
descaling agent to be used). If you do not
wish to use a descaling agent for house-
hold use, you can use citric acid which is
available in grocery stores. Use one
hundred parts of water to three parts
citric acid.

whom you purchased it, if you are purchasing new equipment. Contact your retailer, distributor or
the municipal authorities for further information on what you should do with electrical and
electronic waste.

2. Make sure there is no coffee powder in
the filter.
3. Press the power switch down. The
indicator will be light up. The appliance
will begin working.
4. Brew about two cups of coffee.
5. Press the power switch again to stop the
appliance immediately. Allow the descaling
agent to remain in the appliance for at
least 15 minutes.
6. Restart the appliance and repeat steps
4-6 at least three times.
7.
Run two more brewing cycles with fresh,
cold water to remove any remaining
descaling agent. You do not need to
interrupt the brewing and wait, steps 4-6,
for cleaning from descaling residues.
