• Never leave the appliance and its cord
unsupervised and within the reach of children
under the age of 8 years or irresponsible
people, particularly when it is plugged into
the mains or when it is cooling down.
• Children should not play with the appliance
and must be supervised.
• Keep the appliance out of the reach of
children under the age of 8 years.
• Check that the mains voltage corresponds
to the one indicated on the appliance.
• Never leave the appliance unsupervised
when it is in use.
• IMPORTANT: if the lever gets stuck during
use (for example, because the bread slices
are too thick) and the bread starts to burn,
unplug the appliance immediately and let
it cool before emptying it and cleaning it. If
the problem persists, contact an authorised,
skilled electrician (*).
• Check the appliance for damage from time
to time. Never use the appliance if the cord
or the appliance show signs of damage. If
