OPERATOR'S MANUAL CYCLONE 'C30' 3.06 - Start Up DANGER: the mower must always be lowered to the ground before starting tractor engine or engaging PTO lever. Lower mower to the ground with the tractor rockshaft control lever. With the engine idling, slowly engage the PTO drive.

OPERATOR'S MANUAL CYCLONE 'C30' Under certain conditions, tractor tires may roll some grass down and prevent it from being cut at the same height as the surrounding area. If this occurs reduce the tractor ground speed but maintain a 540 rpm engine speed. The lower ground speed will permit the grass to at least partially rebound.
CYCLONE 'C30' OPERATOR'S MANUAL Enter new areas carefully. Cut grass higher at first, allowing mower to clear hidden objects. CAUTION: for emergency reasons learn how to stop the tractor and mower quickly. On the Cyclone mowers always disengage the PTO, lock parking brake, stop engine and allow the mower blades to come to a complete stop before dismounting the tractor.

Never rely on the tractor lift system. Install blocks or stands under the mower deck to prevent it from falling.

Where replacement parts are necessary for periodic maintenance and servicing, genuine replacement parts must be used to restore your equipment to original specifications.

OPERATOR'S MANUAL CYCLONE 'C30' Removing or installing blades If the mower blades need to be removed, do the following: 1. the blade turns in a counter clockwise (CCW) direction when viewed from the bottom of the deck. The cutting edge must be towards the direction of rotation. The lift wing of the blades is closest to the deck and the cutting edge away from it (see fig.
