General safety instructions
Use the device only for its intended purpose.
Read this Manual carefully before putting the device into operation.
If the platform of the scale is wet, it may be slippery - wipe the scale with a dry cloth before use.
Avoid getting water or other liquid inside the balance, as it may cause malfunction.
Keep the device from impact and do not drop it.
To avoid the damage to the load cells and the platform do not jump onto the scale or drop heavy objects on it.
If an error is displayed on the LCD for a long time, turn off the power for about 3 seconds to eliminate any minor malfunctions. If this does not
work, contact a service center.
Keep the device out of reach of children. Do not let children play with the device.
This device is not intended for use by people (including children) who have physical, nervous or mental disabilities or lack of experience and

After the end of the service life, do not dispose of the device with household waste. Hand it over to a special collection point for future disposal.
This will help protect the environment.
Using an overweight analyzer is contra-indicated to:
-
pregnant women;
-
persons with implanted pacemakers, since the principle of the device, is based on the flow of electric current through the human body,
which can cause a malfunction in the operation of the pacemaker;
-
persons undergoing dialysis treatment.
-
Persons suffering from edema
Before use, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
It is forbidden to use and store the scales in rooms with high humidity (more than 80%), do not allow water or other liquids to enter the scales, as
this may cause damage to the scales.
Use the scales away from heaters and strong electromagnetic radiation.
It is forbidden to disassemble and repair the scales by yourself. If you find a malfunction, contact an authorized (authorised) center.
Scope of use
The device is intended only for household use in accordance with this Manual. This device is not intended for industrial use.
The manufacturer will not be liable for damage resulting from improper use or use unintended in this Manual.
The main function of the device is to determine the weight of an adult (over six years old) person at room temperature and humidity. Outdoor use is
not provided.
Have this in mind that body fat indicators can change during the day (change after taking a bath or shower, after eating food or liquid, during illness
or during physical exertions).
Principle of operation
The basis of operation of these scales is the principle of bioelectric resistance analysis (B.I.A.). The percentage ratio of various tissues content in the
human body is determined with the help of a non-perceptible, safe low-voltage electric current. Different tissues in the human body have different electrical
conductivity: muscle tissue and water are characterized by good electrical conductivity, bones and adipose tissue, have low electrical conductivity. Thus, using
the result of measuring of electrical resistance, a number of indicators of the human body and individual characteristics of a person (age, height, gender), it is
possible to determine the percentage of adipose tissue and other parameters of the human body.
It should be borne in mind that the values obtained using these weights are only approximate, inaccurate data. For example, muscle tissue also contains a
certain percentage of water, which is taken into account when measuring muscle tissue in the body and this can lead to the fact that the total percentage
of measured tissues will be more than 100%. Accurate measurements of the ratio of tissues in the body can only be done by a specialist doctor, having
carried out a number of medical studies and analyses (for example, by computed tomography).
Unreliable results may occur:
- in people experiencing fever, suffering from edema and osteoporosis,
- in people undergoing dialysis treatment,
- in people taking cardiovascular drugs;
- in pregnant women;
- in children under 10 years old and older people over 70 years old;
- for professional athletes.
