5. Features and Functions

a) Weather Station

• Operation via 3 batteries type AA/Mignon or plug-in mains adapter
• At operation via the plug-in mains adapter, permanent lighting of the display is possible
• At battery operation, the display lighting is activated at the push of a button (it goes out automatically after a few
seconds to save power)
• DCF time/date display, manual setting or time zone setting possible
• Time display format can be switched between 12 and 24 hours
• Alarm function with snooze mode („SNOOZE")
• Weather forecast for the next 12 - 24 hours via graphical symbols
• Display of temperature/humidity (can be switched between indoor/outdoor)
• Display of rain volume (can be switched between daily/weekly/monthly/total rain volume)
• Graphic display of the rain volume or barometric pressure curve of the last 6 hours
• Display of wind speed (average value or gust speed)
• Units for temperature, wind speed, rain volume and barometric pressure can be set
• Maximum and minimum memory
• Table setup via the base integrated in the back
• Operation in dry, closed inner rooms

b) Outdoor Sensor

• Operation via 4 batteries type AA/Mignon
• Measured-value recording for rain volume, wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity
• Integrated compass for correct alignment of the outdoor sensor at assembly
• Radio transmission of the measured temperatures to the weather station
• Operation in the outdoor area
