RO Bypass Insert the tubing into the 1/4” fitting on the cartridges marked RO. The output end of the Bypass Hose can be run wherever you find best. Source Hose Connect your water source to the garden hose fitting on your Carbon/Sediment filter.
Plug in your cart. Note: only follow this step if you are planning on using the pump. Pressure Gauge Your NXT 5 comes with a pressure gauge mounted on top fo the pump. Note: an initial tap pressure of 50 psi should be present before running the pump to ensure the pump doesn’t run dry.
Turn On Pump Turn on the pump by pushing the on switch. Note: ensure water is flowing through the system before turning on the pump to avoid damaging your pump. Pump Check that operating pressure is between 100-130 psi. Note: running your system in excess of 130 psi will result in damage to your filters.

Clean Windows Enjoy your NXT system! Shut Down Procedure When you are done using your system, fully open the bypass valve and close the shut off valve. This will flush your RO membranes prolonging their life. Do This for 1-2 minutes. Turn off pump (if used).
