The antenna icon will always be shown on the LCD, it indicates for signal strength, flashes when the handset is out of range. The icon will be displayed when the user pressed the TALK key. The alarm icon will be shown as steady when the alarm is set. The alarm icon will flash when the alarm is triggered.

3 Installation 3.1 Main Base 1)Plug one end of the line cord (RJ11) in main dock connector and the other end to the jack of your phone line. Connect the terminal plug adapter in the main dock connector and then plug the adapter to the electrical outlet. 3.2 Batteries Put the rechargeable batteries that came with your telephone set.

4.9 Pause The pause is useful when accessing Audible Response Units (or URA), as automatic systems of banks. Pause inserts a delay of about 3 seconds. If you want to insert a pause during dialing or when storing a number in memory, press and hold for 2 seconds.

6.3 Character Map To use a specific alphanumeric character, press one or more times a given key until the desired character appears. Press the key once for the first character, twice for the second and so on. This function is used when you want to include a name in the directory, name of the handset, etc.

6.5 Conference, Transfer and Internal Call If you have more than one handset registered on the same basis, you can make internal calls, transfer external calls to other handsets or hold conference to 3 people with two handsets and an outside call. 6.5.1 Performing an Internal Call 1) Press the key.

If you buy extra handsets separately, you can register up to 5 handsets on the same base, thus allowing all these handsets to share a single telephone line service. 6.8.1 Registering a handset in D801 base (Procedure 1) 1)Remove power of the base where you want to register the handset and place it back after 5 seconds.
