Possible causes for the power light to stay off and the power to be dead in a Studebaker SB2145, despite the battery being fully charged, include:

1. The unit is not in Power on mode.
2. The battery is not correctly connected or installed.
3. The internal battery may be damaged or no longer functional despite appearing fully charged.
4. The power button or internal circuitry may be faulty.
5. The charger used may not meet the required voltage/current specifications for Lithium batteries.

Ensure the unit is turned on, the battery is properly connected, and a compatible charger is used.
