M1000 Install Manual
GENERAL
The M1000's operation is simple and reliable, containing no motors or electronics. The system is always
held in the fully open position by a corrosion resistant fusible link that will break when temperatures reach
165⁰F. The curtain then drops to the floor protect the opening. It is easily rewinds manually with a 1/2''
ratchet using the rewind screw on the Left side of the housing.

The curtain strap is set to the designed drop length, however dependent on field conditions it may be necessary to reset the drop height by moving the curtain strap. (See strapping instructions on pg. 3 or contact Smoke Guard if necessary).
