The device plugged into the Zigbee-controlled smart outlet on
this module must not exceed 1000W incandescent, 1/2HP motor,
1800W (15A) resistive or 3.75A LED/CFL. The total maximum rating
for both outlets combined is 1800W (15A) resistive load.

Wiring (installation instructions)
1. Shut off power to the circuit at circuit breaker or fuse box.
IMPORTANT! Verify power is OFF to switch box before
continuing.
2. Remove wallplate.
3. Remove the outlet mounting screws.
4. Carefully remove the outlet from the wall box.
5. Disconnect the wires from the existing outlet. Label wires
according to the previous terminal connections.
6. There are three screw terminals on the Zigbee smart outlet;
these are marked
A. LINE (hot) — Black (connected to power)
B. NEUTRAL — White
C. GROUND — Green/bare
Match these screw terminals to the wires connected to the
existing outlet.

Adding your device to the Zigbee network
1. From your Zigbee controller's menu, choose to add lighting device
and enter locating/pairing mode as instructed by the controller.
2. Plug the light you plan to control into the Zigbee controlled outlet
as indicated by the Zigbee logo.
NOTE: Plug directly into outlet. Do not use with extension cords
3. Network pairing begins automatically: LED status indicator blinks
as the smart outlet automatically scans for a compatible network
controller.
4. After the smart outlet is located and paired to the approved
Zigbee network, the LED status indicator will stop blinking and the
smart outlet will appear in your controller's menu.

Observe important wiring information
Always follow the recommended wire strip length (5/8in. or 16mm)
and wiring combination when making wiring connections. Consult
an electrician with questions or for professional installation.
UL specifies the tightening torque for the screws is 14Kgf-cm
(12lbf-in).
IMPORTANT! The screw terminals in this receptacle are intended
to only be used with copper wire. Consult a qualified electrician
if you have aluminum wiring.
Wire gauge requirements
Use 14AWG or larger wires suitable for at least 80° C for supplying
line (hot), neutral and ground connections.
1. Insert smart outlet into the box being careful not to pinch or
crush wires.
2. Secure the outlet to the box using the supplied screws.
3. Mount the wallplate.
The smart outlet is paired to the Zigbee network and can be
controlled remotely.
NOTE: LED status indicator stops blinking if a timeout occurs.
Auto-scan mode will eventually time out if the smart outlet
has not joined a Zigbee network. Press the program button on
the smart outlet to restart pairing process following timeout.
Timeout will only occur twice. If the smart outlet is not paired
before the second time out, manual reset will be required before
pairing. Please refer to the following section for details.
WARRANTY
Jasco Products Company warrants this product to be free from manufacturing defects five years
from the original date of consumer purchase. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of
this product only and does not extend to consequential or incidental damage to other products that
may be used with this product. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or permit the exclusion
or limitation of incidental or consequential damage, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

4. Reapply power to the circuit at fuse box or circuit breaker and
test the system.
Basic operation
The connected device can be turned ON/OFF in two ways:
1. Manually from front program button.
2. Remotely with a Zigbee controller.
Cycle LED light
The LED acts as a guide light or status indicator.
How to cycle through options: Press program button 10 times quickly.
1. LED is ON when the load is ON (indicates the outlet is ON) (default)
2. LED is ON when the load is OFF (guide light in the dark)
3. LED is always OFF
To remove and reset the device from the Zigbee controller
From your controller or hub interface, choose to remove or delete the
lighting device as instructed. The smart outlet will be removed from the
Zigbee network following indication from your controller. All configuration
parameters will be reset after the smart outlet is removed from the
network.
To return to factory defaults
Press the button three times, then press and hold the button for at least
three seconds. The LED will blink three times to confirm.
NOTE: This should only be used in the event your network's primary
controller is missing or otherwise inoperable.
If prompted by the controller to enter the install code, refer to the QR code
label on the product. Enter the input code.
