However, pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on top of the housing will activate the snooze function. The alarm will be
silent for 5 minutes before it goes off again.
Press ALM ON/OFF at the back of the device to deactivate the alarm (
symbol is no longer displayed).
6. Temperature Readout
Press the °C/°F-button when the device is in the normal display mode to toggle between the °C or °F for the
temperature readout.
7. Selecting 12hr- or 24hr-mode
Press the "12/24"-button when the device is in the normal display mode to toggle between 12hr- and 24hr-mode for the
time display.
8. Backlight
Press SNOOZE/LIGHT to activate the backlight for approximately 5 seconds.
9. Selecting the Display Language
Choose one of five display languages with the selector at the back of the device : English, French, German, Spanish or
Italian.
Proceed as follows : remove the batteries, select the display language of your choice with the selector and reinsert the
batteries. Note that you will need to reset all the data from the normal display mode as well.
10. Maintenance and Safety Instructions
Use a soft cloth moistened with mild detergent to clean the device. Do not use abrasives or solvents on the device. Do
not drop the device on a hard surface. Do not use it outdoors and shield it from direct sunlight.
