Entering text by speaking

To turn on voice input
If the onscreen keyboard does not display a Microphone Key, voice
input is not turned on or you have it configured to display on the
symbols keyboard.
1. Press the Home Key
Settings > Language & keyboard > Android keyboard .
You can also touch and hold the Symbols Key on the
onscreen keyboard. In the dialog that opens, touch Android
keyboard settings .
2. Touch Voice Input .
3. Touch the option for where you want the Microphone Key to
be displayed or touch Off to turn off voice input.
To enter text by speaking
You can enter text by speaking, in most places that you can enter
text with the onscreen keyboard.
1. Touch a text field.
2. Touch the Microphone Key on the keyboard (if you set the
Microphone Key to appear on the symbols keyboard, touch
the Symbols Key first).
3. When prompted to "Speak now, " speak what you want to
enter.
