The BKMA-520SS is an optional circuit board especially designed for the
MAV-555 Multi-Access Video Recorder. Installing this board in the MAV-
555 provides the following features.
Installing this board enables the overall configuration of one Super-Slow
input + one output. This capability allows, for example, recording input
from a Super-Slow camera at a live sporting event while obtaining Super-
Slow playback at the output port.
Super-Slow and 3-In/1-Out Modes Selectable
Even if Super-Slow is not used when this board is installed, the MAV-555
can be used in the standard 3-In*/1-Out configuration by selecting the
operating mode on the MAV-555.
* • Analog input is supported at ports R1 and R2.
• Port R3 cannot be synchronized externally from the MAV-555.
• The MAV-555 System TC is set to R3 input LTC.
The following example system configuration has a Sony Super Motion
camera connected to the MAV-555 with this optional board installed to
provide slow recording and playback.
