Non-Contact Thermometer- Quick Start Guide

NOTES for using this thermometer

Always make sure the thermometer is in BODY mode before taking a
measurement. The light next to the word BODY should be lit to indicate it is
in BODY MODE. If the light next to the word SURFACE is lit, press the
"MODE" button to select BODY MODE.
Store the thermometer in the room where you take your measurements. If
you move the thermometer to a new room to take a measurement and
the temperature in the new room is very different from where the
thermometer was stored, the reading may not be accurate. Bring the
patient to the thermometer, don't bring the thermometer to the patient.

Installing the Batteries

New batteries were installed in your device before shipping. Unless instructed by
a support person, skip this section
This product uses 2 AA batteries. Remove the battery cover
and place the batteries according to the polarity diagram
in the battery compartment.
