Warm air
Use for
- Multi-layered fabrics whose layers have different drying character-
istics, e.g. jackets, pillows, sleeping bags and other bulky items.
- For drying individual items, e.g. bath towels, bathing costumes
and tea towels.
Tip
Do not select the longest drying time to start with. Check the items
as you are drying them to find the optimum time.
Cool air
Use for
Any item which only needs airing.
Standard pillows
Large pillows
HygieneDry, Normal
Use for
Pillows suitable for drying in a tumble dryer, with feather, down or
synthetic fillings.
Tip
HygieneDry for special hygiene requirements.
Note
- Feathers have a tendency of developing a strong odour when they
are warm. Allow bedding to air outside the tumble dryer after
tumble drying.
- Pillows can still feel damp after being dried. You can use this pro-
gramme several times until the pillow feels dry.
Cottons hygiene
HygieneDry
Use for
Cottons and linen fabric which will be in direct contact with the skin,
e.g. underwear, baby clothes, bed linen, towelling.
Note
- Use HygieneDry for hard-wearing fabrics with special hygiene re-
quirements.
- In this programme, the items will be dried with a temperature that
is constant over an extended period. This temperature holding
time kills off micro-organisms such as germs or dust mites and re-
duces allergens in the laundry. Therefore, this programme should
not be interrupted as this would prevent the micro-organisms from
being killed off.
