Notes on playback operations of DVDs and VIDEO CDs

Some playback operations of DVDs and VIDEO CDs may be intentionally
set by software producers. Since this player plays DVDs and VIDEO CDs
according to the disc contents the software producer designed, some playback
features may not be available. Also, refer to the instructions supplied with the
DVDs or VIDEO CDs.
• Stop the DVD player when watching a TV program during video recording,
or during video playback.
• Do not perform VIDEO playback while playing back a disc.

Note on using the setup menu

If the disc tray is open, close the tray before pressing SETUP on the remote.

Notes on disc operations

• You can use the Virtual Surround function (page 72) and 2 playback audio
with all discs except discs recorded by LPCM.
• The Picture Navigation function (page 64) operates only for DVD-Video.
