3 Startup and use instructions

This scale is not rated for commercial use. It therefore may not be used to
weigh anything regulated by law.
This electronic scale is a precision instrument. In order to obtain precise
measurements, observe the following recommendations:
- Place the apparatus on a clean, sturdy, level surface.
- When using the electronic scale, avoid vibrations, humidity, intense
electromagnetic fields and disturbances, and severe temperature
fluctuations.
- Allow the device to warm up for 30 seconds before performing
measurements. This time is needed to allow the electronic circuits to
stabilize.
- Handle this apparatus carefully. The weighing mechanism is protected
against overloads; nevertheless, do not weigh objects with masses in
excess of the weighing capacity of the scale. Gently place the objects to
be weighed on the platform.
