Thunderbolt 3-equipped computer (a lightning bolt symbol on the side of the port). Windows 10 Operating System and Mac OS 10.13 + higher.

    One Stop Systems Hardware Installation The following steps will guide you through the installation of your EB3T-V3-EGPU expansion unit. CAUTION Before touching anything inside the enclosure, move to an ESD station and follow proper ESD procedures. Failure to do so may result in electrostatic discharge, damaging the computer or its components.

    One Stop Systems 2.2 Installation on Mac computer Install GPU card Some GPU card manufacturers recommend that you install their software driver prior to installing the card. If this is the case, be sure to install the card driver before connecting ExpressBox 3T- eGPU to the computer. Align the GPU card on the top of the PCIe slot.
  • Page 21 One Stop Systems Connect all external display monitors to the eGPU (AMD GPU). Use appropriate display cables. Check with the manufacturer of the GPU for the proper display cable to use. Attach Power Cord The EB3T-V3-eGPU unit comes with a standard 110v power cord. Connect Thunderbolt 3 Cable Attach the Thunderbolt 3 cable to the ExpressBox 3T- eGPU.
  • Page 22 One Stop Systems When connecting to USB-C port, make sure the port is a true “thunderbolt port”. It should have a Thunderbolt logo printed next to them to identify the ports as Thunderbolt 3 compatible. Connecting to a USB-C port without Thunderbolt 3 capability will not work.

    One Stop Systems 2.3 Installation on Windows PC Install Thunderbolt Software. Go to Software Installation chapter. When done installing the software, firmware and Windows updates, proceed to step 2. Plug in the GPU card into PCIe slot. Slowly push the card down until it is seated firmly into the slot. Secure the GPU card.
  • Page 24 One Stop Systems Connect the power cord to the EB3T-V3-eGPU unit. Connect Thunderbolt3 cable to EB3T-V3- eGPU . Do not connect the other end of the Thunderbolt cable to the Windows Laptop PC yet. Turn ON the Windows PC laptop. Connect the other end of Thunder 3 cable to Windows laptop.

    One Stop Systems Software Installation IMPORTANT EB3T-V3-eGPU requires no driver on Apple Mac Operating System and Windows OS and 10. 3.1 Configuring Windows for Thunderbolt This is only applicable for Windows PC. You need to install software, firmware and updates. Make sure the Windows PC is up to date with Windows 10 updates installed (to avoid problems with performance and compatibility).
