2.5.3 START-UP
Take the steps below to start up the booth:
NOTE: It is understood that the user has an audiometer to connect to the
booth.
• Connect the network cable to the base of the network input base of the cabin
and then connect it to the network (No.15).
• Verify that the light switches on when the light switch (No. 3) is switched
on. If the light does not switch on, check the previous step and verify that the
power supply is working properly.
• Place the audiometer on the tray and connect the network cable from it to
the auxiliary input (No.3). IMPORTANT NOTE: Maximum load at 500 W.
• Connect the audiometer to the connections panel with the connection cables
and jacks and then connect the accessories (headphones, patient warning,
etc.) to the connections panel on the inside of the booth and hang them from
the supports that are placed inside the panel on each side.
• Switch on the main switch of the audiometer. Make sure that the audiometer
works properly and as indicated in the user manual.
3. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
3.1 CLEANING
The exterior surface of the cabin can be cleaned with soap and water,
subsequently drying the remaining moisture. Inside the cabin, the foam walls
can be cleaned with a conventional vacuum cleaner; the plastic parts, the
window and the washable floor can be washed with soap and water.
Do not use abrasive substances or solvents that can attack the finish of the
cabin.
3.2 PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
3.2.1. SUPERVISION
The user can periodically monitor the appearance of the cabin, the internal
lighting, the door closing and the status of the grid connection, the auxiliary
socket and the switch for the internal lighting. It will verify that no element
presents breakage or external damage.
